Our Owner’s Story

Nicholas Barton is a certified carpenter with almost 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial settings. His training began in vocational school as a teenager. While learning from highly skilled teachers and assisting his uncle with various construction projects, he quickly realized that building was his passion.


After working for various construction companies, Nick decided to start his own woodworking business in 2018. He focuses on creating quality, custom, handmade furniture. Each piece is locally made in his shop to meet every client’s
specific needs. With his experience working as a Historic Preservation Carpenter, Nick also has expertise in repair and restoration.

Nick takes pride in his craftsmanship using traditional methods to create each piece one at a time, allowing for special attention to detail. Additionally, he keeps his customers updated on his progress with their project by emailing
pictures regularly.

Nick live in Lancaster New York with his wife and three daughters. As a true family oriented business, his daughters can occasionally be found in the shop giving their dad suggestions and offering to help. His wife can also be found helping with installations.
